The contract will also cover works within the public highway, parks and housing estates, including LED lamp and column replacement works, inspection, supply, maintenance, improvement and repair to street lighting and associated equipment, such as illuminated signs.
FM Conway Lighting Director, Graham Cartledge, said:
“This is a fantastic opportunity for the Lighting division, that continues to support the London boroughs to transform their lighting stock to a more environmentally-friendly Lighting lamp (LED), and contributes to reducing the energy consumed (carbon footprint) within their borough. At FM Conway we are working to provide sustainable solutions to support the boroughs from switching their lamps to LED, as well as installing EV chargers into street lamp columns, and recycling both the concrete lamp column and the lamp fittings for a greener London.”
