FM Conway has over 20 years’ experience supplying ready mix concrete using our fleet of volumetric mixers. 

Using volumetric concrete mixers is more flexible, efficient, and cost effective, allowing us to batch mix concrete on site to your specification avoiding costly return loads. This method ensures we eliminate waste and give you the ability to mix different strengths on the same delivery.

Our volumetric mixers can mix up to C40 ready mix concrete on-site.

FM Conway also offer the option to collect concrete at our Dartford, Heathrow, and Purley Oaks Depots.

Low Carbon Cement Initiatives

In an effort to tackle the carbon impact of cementitious products, FM Conway has switched away from CEM I Portland cement to a low carbon alternative cement.

This new product makes use of limestone fines to significantly reduce the intensity of CO2e emissions arising from the manufacturing of cement.

This, coupled with only using recycled aggregates for our ready-mix concrete product range, will save over 450 tonnes of CO2e emissions each year.

In addition to this, FM Conway’s Technology Centre is working with suppliers of a cement-free product to assess its feasibility in being utilised as the cementitious component for low strength concrete mixes.
