Your application will be reviewed by one of FM Conway’s expert Recruiters. If your skill set matches the job requirements your application will be shortlisted for review by the hiring manager. If the hiring manager believes that your experience/skill set does not meet the job criteria you will receive an email to notify you. If they believe it does match, then you will be contacted by one of the Recruitment team.
The Recruitment team will contact you via phone to arrange an interview. This may be held by phone, Microsoft Teams, or in person at one of our offices/depots. They will advise you on the format of the interview, what to expect, and how long this will last. They will also let you know if the process will involve more than one interview. We firmly believe that interviews are a two-way process and encourage you to come prepared with questions to help you establish if we are the right fit for you! Interviews normally consist of a number of competency-based questions, you can find examples of these online to help you prepare. At the end of your interview, you will be advised on how quickly to expect feedback.
Following your interview, you will be contacted by your Recruitment Advisor to advise you on the outcome of your interview. If you are unsuccessful, you will always be notified of this, and we aim to provide helpful and constructive feedback to help you with future interviews and applications.
If you are successful your Recruitment Advisor will thoroughly explain your offer and benefits, before arranging a contract and formal offer letter to be emailed directly to you. During the time between your offer and start date, you will receive regular communication from Recruitment, HR, and your new line manager.
A comprehensive induction will be arranged to ensure that you have a smooth and successful transition into your new career at FM Conway.
