Terms & Conditions

• The Contest is open to individuals who are 18 years or older at the time of entry.
• Employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members of FM Conway are not eligible to participate.
• In entering the Contest, You confirm that you are eligible to participate. FM Conway may require You to provide proof that You are eligible to enter the Contest.

• To enter the Contest, Participants must submit a name through an online form https://www.fmconway.co.uk/enter-our-granulator-naming-contest
• Only one entry per Participant is allowed.
• Entries on behalf of other people and/or joint submissions is not allowed.
• The Contest will run from 09:00 on 25 June 2024 to 23:59 on 28 June 2024 (the “Closing Date”). All entries must be received by FM Conway by no later than 23:59 on the Closing Date.

• The name can be a single word or a short combination of words.
• The name must be original and must not infringe a third party’s intellectual property rights, including trademarks.
• FM Conway will appoint a judging panel. That panel will select a winning name from submissions received.
• Entries will be judged based on their creativity, originality and suitability.
• The decision of the judging panel will be final and binding.

• The Participant whose entry is selected as the winning name will receive a £250 Amazon voucher by email.
• The winning Participant will be notified as soon as practicable using the email address provided with the entry. If the winner cannot be contacted or has not claimed their prize within 30 days from and including the date of notification, FM Conway reserves the right to choose and notify an alternative winner.
• The prize is non-negotiable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable. It cannot be substituted for cash or other alternatives.

• By submitting an entry and any accompanying materials, You:
• (i) assign to FM Conway all your intellectual property rights in your entry (including present and future copyright) with full title guarantee;
• (ii) waive all moral rights in and to your entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which You may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world;
• (iii) undertake that your entry is not in breach of any third party intellectual property rights and will not contain anything which is defamatory, indecent, harassing or threatening and that You will indemnify FM Conway for any loss, damage or liability arising should this turn out not to be true; and
• (iv) confirm that You have the right, power and authority to grant the rights set out above and that You have obtained all consents and permissions necessary to grant us the same.
• For the avoidance of doubt, all entries and any accompanying materials submitted to FM Conway will become the property of FM Conway on receipt.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, FM Conway shall not have any liability to any Participants (including the prize winner) in connection with or arising out of the Contest howsoever caused, including for any costs, expenses, forfeited prize, damages and other liabilities, provided nothing herein shall operate so as to limit or exclude its liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence.

• By entering the Contest, You agree that any personal information provided by You with the entry may be held and used by FM Conway or its agents to administer the Contest and will be deleted 12 months after the winner of the Contest is announced.
• By accepting the prize, the winning Participant agrees that FM Conway may use their name, image and town to announce the winner of the Contest and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.
• The winning Participant further agrees to take part in non-paid reasonable publicity (including photography) if required by FM Conway.

• FM Conway reserves the right to disqualify any entry if it has reason(s) to believe that the entry does not comply with these Terms and Conditions. FM Conway may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude You from participating in the Contest.
• FM Conway reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside its reasonable control or where it becomes necessary to do so without notice and liability to the Participants.
• These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
