Lord's Cricket Ground
Description of Works
Lord’s Cricket Ground, home to Marylebone Cricket Club, Middlesex County Cricket Club and the England and Wales Cricket Board, is one of the most high-profile sporting venues in the UK. FM Conway first began work at Lord’s in partnership with The London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG).
We carried out extensive repairs to the surfacing around the W.G Grace Gate ahead of the ground being used as an Olympic venue for the archery competition. Members of Marylebone Cricket Club, which manages Lord’s, were impressed with the quality of the works and as a result chose FM Conway to deliver its wider resurfacing programme across the Ground.
